I worked within the same organization for the last thirteen years. Recently I have applied for several positions. One position I was advised that I was not qualified. However, recently a part of that particular job descriptions was given to me as an assignment. After that I applied for another job and my immediate supervisor recently wrote me up for excessive phone use. Can you advised me on what I could do I feel that I am being harrassed and held back. Please advised on what procedure I can take to ensure that this discontinues.

You don't state why you believe you are being harassed and held back. While your employer may feel that you are not fully qualified for a position, he/she may look at you as qualified to do some of the work, which is why you were given the assignment you mentioned. As for being written up for excessive phone use, an employer can establish workplace policies and discipline employees who do not follow those policies.

If you believe you are being treated differently than other employees or are being harassed in some manner, you should talk with an experienced employment law attorney regarding the facts and your rights in the matter. Feel free to call my office to schedule a consultation if you would like to discuss this further.
