If I want to buy a church with money from the church is there a way that i can protect my personal property if we default on the loan?

I think this is what you mean: you are part of a church. You and the other church members want to buy a building and fix it up to be your church. You will have to sign the documents buying the building, and you and the other church members are getting a loan to pay for the church building. You are worried that you may be obligated to pay for the loan from your own money if the church group does not pay.

I have represented a couple of groups of church members, renting and buying buildings for their churches.
