Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in New Jersey

family owned business sexual harassment

Since October of 2007 until June of 2008, I was sexually harassed by the owner of the small fasmily owned business I worked for. The harassment only stopped when his wife, who is a school teacher came to work for the business in June. This man made many sexual comments about my body, my personal sex life and offered me ''perks'' for sleeping with him. Being a small business there were never any wittnesses to any of his comments of suggestions. I have a fairly complete log of his comments, but because I have no witnesses how hard is it going to be to prove what this man did to me? I have been told of former employees that he did the same thing to, can these women be ''forced'' to give a statement in my case?

Re: family owned business sexual harassment

It sounds like a very actionable claim against your employer. However, June 2008 is almost 90 days ago and you MUST file your complaint ASAP. Feel free to call our offices; we handle these cases on a contingent (no-fee-unless-you-recover) basis.
