Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

Failure to wear seatbeat in NJ

The police were stopping traffic that was merging from route 9N to the new jersey turnpike. They were looking for expired stickers etc. The police had passed my car, and on the way back, i was digging around the back seat for my sun glasses. He asked me for my licence, etc and issued me a ticket for failure to wear a seat belt, which I had only removed so I could turn around and reach into the back seat. I wasn--name removed--driving, and the car was in park. Now the ticket location reads RT9NB/NJ GSP. My question is that there is another entrance with that same description on that road a few miles up. Can I get it dismissed on the location not being adequate?

I don't think so and even if you fought this, you would probably have to take this to trial. That would take up about 10 hours of your life across several different days. I doubt your time is that worthless to bother with such a small ticket.
