The offense is what is called a disorderly persons offense. The maximum penalty is 6 months in jail and a $1000 fine. Depending on the circumstances, you may be able to have it reduced or dismissed. You really need to speak with a lawyer. Call me if you would like to discuss it further at 877*688*3879.
