Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

GDL holders can no longer plea down?

I recently received a ticket for speeding, approx. 15 over in a construction zone at 11:45 at night. Having a provisional, and no previous records of a traffic violation, the officer wrote me up for the full speed, and gave me the contruction enhancement, while no contractors were working. I go to court soon, and is it possible, even with this new law, that the judge, who is in a town notorious for having nothing to do in the winter, will allow me to plead down to a lesser charge and pay a higher fine? Or am I going to end up with 4 points on my lisence. If so, will I be able to get a regular lisence when I turn 18?

Everyone is misunderstanding the new Attorney General directive regarding provisional drivers and plea bargains. I actually carry around a copy of the directive in my brief case so I can explain it to prosecutor's and judges. I may be able to help you reduce the points, even if not completely eliminating them. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

The plea bargain may not be available, but a quick trial can get the desired result.
