Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

In-Laws will

My father-in-law died 4 yeasrs ago. Since then my husband and I have seperated. How do I go about finding out what my father-in-law left to my children. He had told me that they were in his will and also me & his son (my husband).

I know that he left my children money. I would like to know that its okay and it wasn't used, and also left the same and other personal effects for me & my husband. he will not tell me. do I have the right to know??????

And am I entitled to what he left us, or anything my husband received. Like I said we are seperated not divorced yet.

Can you help

Re: In-Laws will

I would need to review the will before answering most of your questions. Why have you waited 4 years to look into this? If you or your children were named in the will, you should have recieced Notice of Probate when the will was probated.
