Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

If a person dies leaving 2 wills, one made in New Jersey 1n 1985 and one in Italy dated 2008.

How does it work?

Can the one in the US count as legal for the deceased american Assest?

How are they recognized. I am mentioned in one and the other/

thank you
