I am a casual employee at the post office in NewJersey. I gotinjured but did not file a accdent report.Iam now going to be out 4to6 mor weeks. Can I still claim for workers commpensation.

Immediately report your workplace injury to your supervisor so he can file the appropriate workers compensation papers for you. It is not too late.
