Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New Mexico

Pre-employment Discrimination

I was hired scheduled to start training called back two days later and told because of my background check I could not be offered the job. They would not tell me what was the disqualifying factor said they checked my background report then threw it away. They didnt remember the reason the person that I was told made the decision not to hire because of my BG report said he never even saw it. So the person that interviewed me said he would check my BG report again call human resources and call me back. Five months no call so I called them sad they needed to check my BG report again then call me back. Iwas told that according to New Jersey I had a rap sheet a mile long I called New jersey they said it is totally clean. I never lived in new jersey. Is this discrimination I'm black and no other blacks work at this facility.
