Legal Question in Family Law in New Mexico

My 18 year old daughter is hanging out with people I don't of. I have parked her car that was given to her but in my name and heard she was going to get a lawyer and try to take the car. Can you tell me what the courts may say. I live in New Mexico.

If the car is hers, but in your name for some reason such as insurance (a really bad idea), then she may be able to recover possession by going to small claims court. A title is evidence of ownership, but the true owner of a car has the right of possession, even if it is titled in the name of another for some accommodation.
