Broken Divorce Decree

Divorce decree was broken by both parents when they made changes to the custody arrangements for a child that is one of twins. Decree specifically states that any changes to custody arrangements must be approved by judge prior to being enacted. What are the consequences from taking such actions?

Only the parents are entitled to enforce the decree by way of contempt of court proceedings.
