The concept of 'change of venue' applies only to jury cases. Since domestic matters are not jury matters, a change of venue for child custody is not possible. A change of the court in which the matter is to be heard could be possible of all witnesses and interested parties have moved to the same place and all agree to the change.

Could you be a little more specific about what you're trying to accomplish? Are you moving between states or within the state? Is there a court that has made a decision regarding the child already?
