Legal Question in Administrative Law in New York

Rebate information please

Hello Sir/Mam

I sent in for a rebate in early january 2003 to mcAfee security programs and have not recieved a refund after the scheduled 3 months. $40 dollars is owed to me and I have the proof in front of me in the form of reciepts. Is there something I can do Legally to get it back or can I get them in trouble and get more money? I have called numerous times with the same runaround. This is not right. I'd appreciate any information you can give me in pursuit of this matter.

Respectfully Submitted,

Jonathan Glatt

Re: Rebate information please

That is very frustrating. Yes, you have a right to your refund. The problem lies in using the judicial system as a tool. This type of case is usually satisfied using 'small claims court'. However, you need to find McAfee or a distributor for McAfee in the county where you file suit in a small claims case. In a regular trial ourt (Supreme Copurt is the name here in NY) that is not necessary. You are welcome to a consultation for no fe at my offices at 44 West 44th St., NY,NY. Please call for an appointment first. (646) 591-5786
