Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York

collection debt

can italian law have something to do

with the american??? in other words

i have an old debt in italy but i am a

permanent resident in the staes

working and living here...no assest in

italy just my salary in us ....can the

take part of my us salary to satisfy

the debt???

Although your Italian creditors may be able to sue you here in the U.S., it is highly unlikely that they would invest the money in a U.S. attorney to do so. Unless you owe well over a hundred thousand dollars, I would not worry too much.
