Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York

husband filed wifes bills

I filed #7.I listed medical bills that were under my ins.The bills were under my wifes name.The bankruptcy went thru 3 months ago now creditors calling saying my wife has to pay.If dept was discharged how can thay call now why was nothing questioned before it was discharged.Is she resposible for med. bills

It appears so. First bankruptcy does not cancel but gives the person filing life time protection against collection. They cannot collect from you. However if your wife was independently liable to pay for the medical service before the bankruptcy she remains so after your bankruptcy (which had no effect on her liability).
