Does a 1 person LLC need to have an Operating Agreement?

I formed an LLC this year. Just me, under my SSN. Do I 1) need an EIN number? 2) need to havean Operating Agreement?

An EIN is required, and will be provided once you file your LLC papers with the state.

You should have received an EIN with the LLC packet a few weeks after you filed.

An operating agreement is also required and should be made available to the state.

Have you filed your LLC papers yet?

Sincerely,

Patricia Martin-Gibbons.
