The remodeling was started, now its on hold and will not be really for my wedding. I ask for a refund and was told its non refundable. What can I do?

Re: contract

You can have a lawyer review your contract and advise you on what rights you may have (e.g., filing a lawsuit etc). I am unable to offer any insight without reviewing the contract you have signed. Please feel free to contact my office if we may be of any assistance.

Re: contract

If they will obviously not be in shape to fulfill their end of the agreement on the stated date you may have a case to sue them for return of your deposit (depending on how the contract is worded). Where you sue them in NY depends on the dollar value of of your claim.

You'll need a lawyer to help you with this: feel free to contact my office for a free half-hour consultation.
