I'm starting a web site to sell clocks. we will be using a drop shipping company and not keeping any inventory. I'm not sure which type of entity is best & cost effective.

You should consult with an attorney who can review the different entities with you and advise you on which form would best suit your specific needs and long term goals.

Re: incorporation or LLC

The type of entity will have to do with your decision relating to growth, investors and or liability.

If you are a going to be the only person involved with the business, then a single member LLC domiciled in a state that allows such entities can be sufficient and tax efficient. A S Corp in a recognizing jurisdiction can also be used.

Unfortunately, its not that cut and dry and you should contact an attorney that can assist you in finding the right entity.

Good Luck
