Keeping m DBA disolving my S Corp

I have a S Corp for home repair, I can't afford to keep it. I did spin off a DBA for a Ispection business. I want to disove my s corp, so can I keep my DBA without it? If so, how do I do about it? My checking account for my corp new accepts my DBA income. Now what/

Re: Keeping m DBA disolving my S Corp

Assuming that you timely paid all franchise taxes, you would only have to file a certificate of dissolution. If you contact the entity that helped you incorporate it should be able to help you dissolve.

Upon dissolution, your dba would be dissolved. However, all you would have to do is file another dba with the County Clerk - and not the NY Secretary of State.

You would also have to open a new checking account.
