Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York

IN 2006 I was hurt and disgusted after several people came upon me and blew cigarette smoke in my face infecting a pre-existing wound from prior second hand smoke contact resulting from a conflicting issue with a previous employer who terminated me for alledgedly threatening to eject a person off a site if they did not put out the cigarette. There was a bigger picture here. The person in question could not be found...The site in question had large amounts of explosives..a sign was erected stating that Any person found smoking, drinking alcohol, etc will be ejected...the Project Manager...

My question is:.. Regarding to the above date's incident, I went to the police to file a complaint but who with chuckel from his mouth , involuntarily apprehended me and put me in a ambulance which transported me to a psychiatric hospital for evaluation. THe so call psychiatrist and his nurse, (a women whom I worked with in the above named Company) asked me a series of ridicules questions. I passed the exam. The MD diagnosed me as having serious lung problem, but the staff was adomant, rude and cruel when taking 4+viles of blood insisting I was intaking illegal substances. No drugs/alcohol was found.

Some staff members lied and said I was taking too much medication.. I do not take medication now nor then. I can only assume that the switched charts.

They left me in a room half naked to be observed by strangers as if I was a freak or a dog. When I demanded to be released, they ignored my request.

I was finally released..Normal but disenchanted with the NYPD..I went to file a compalint and I get apprehended.....Whats up with that?

Since then I lost all income and am continually being horrifically challenged by uninvited second hand smoke. Later on I learned from a women in Pawling, NY that they were using me for a sinusitis experiment which damaged my lungs a sinuses further without reason.

Can I sue the Police and the Hospital? If so Who should I ask to take the case?
