Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York

ok i have a question if you ask someone to leave your property do they need to leave? me and my friend were talking and where i know im right he thinks i am wrong. i told him that yes he would have to leave if the person who lives on the property wanted him gon wether he had a ride home or not he would have to leave. we continued the conversation and if the cops were called we told him that they would escort him off the property and he seems to think that they would tell the owner that he doesnt have to leave because he isnt being bligerent. could you please help me with this question thank you!

You can eject anyone from your dwelling at anytime as long as they do not have some interesting in staying (e.g. wife, husband and a minor child in the tender years).
