Legal Question in Technology Law in New York

Cyberlibel

Hello,

I am hoping you can help.

I am interested in filing a cyber libel suit against a person who posted a picture of me on a pornographic website and ''outed'' me as a lesbian. I am not a lesbian and unfortunately the picture was posted anonymously. Is there a way to trace the IP address if the person who posted the picture.. Becuase I assume you can not file a libel suit if you dont know who your are filing it against..

Thank you for your help.

We might not be able to find out who really did it, but we can get the photo down and investigate it. Internet law if my main focus; so feel free to contact me.
