Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

I am a designer who has has a client who agreed to pay me a certain price for my services. I gave the client a quote for my services, and even gave them a minimum invoice reflecting the work which has been done so far half-way through the project.

Now the client is refusing to pay the total amount and wants to pay me less than what was quoted for the work done halfway through the project, even though they were already quoted for a price above their offer for work that was already done and accepted.

Do I have a case?

You sure do. If this is worth less than $5000, then consider suing in Small Claims Court. If it's substantially more, you should probably hire an attorney.

Good luck!
