Re: joint bank account

A joint bank account usually has two individuals on the account, for withdrawals and for ownership purposes.

It can become very confusing when it comes to a freeze on a bank account because of money owed.

All of the money in the account is frozen.

It is up to the courts to divide the money. The onus is on you to fight for the money and show who deposited what.

Ir you are concerned open up a separate bank account, and/or empty the bank account in question, before you have a chance to loose the money.
