Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

mis use of credit card

i misused a company credit card for personal purchases. Intended to pay it back but left job and forgot to payback on the items. I got a call and have to go to the police for questioning. I intend to pay it back, or return items I still have. The full amount is approx 800.00. What should I tell the police,or not tell, what penalties am I looking at, any jail time, or fines. This is my first offense of any kind. It was a stupid mistake. Any info would be appreciated.

You must retain an attorney before you do anything else. A competent criminAl defense attorney may be able to preclude any charges from being filed. You may contact my office @7188340087 for a free phone consultation.

My advice is you should have an attorney contact the police and you should not admit to anything. You certainly should NOT make a statement to the police.

You should absolutely, definitely, without any doubt speak to a lawyer prior to speaking to the police. No ifs, ands or buts. If you email me your phone number, I will have my associate call you. [email protected]
