Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Misdemeanor in NY

Dear Sirs,

I am a UK citizen living in London. I was arrested in 1993 for a misdemeanor offence, while on a short visit to NY City, for jumping the metro barrier. I had to return to the UK three days later. I widh to return to NY City, for work reasons, and wonder if I will encounter any trouble in doing so. Thank you.

It is possible that the immigration authorities will have information that you have a warrant issued against you for "bail jumping" and /or failure to appear in criminal court. Try to retain a cpompetent criminal defense attorney in N Y to have the warrant either stayed or vacated before you try to reenter the U S .
