Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Son arrested for fake ID

I understand that this is my sons first criminal offense, and I am not so worried about the outcome of the situation because of this fact. We are looking for an attorney to represent him in court. He was cought with a fake ID at a friends house, which they were having a party at. I also want to see about filing a lawsuit against the parents who allowed the party to go on. Is this possible?

Yes, this is possible. My office specializes in criminal law and would be more than happy to assist your son with this matter - with proper counsel there should be no time involved and perhaps no criminal record either, please feel free to contact my office on both matters as we also handle civil lawsuits as well. 2127098303

A fake id case is not a serious offense, but you are right to consult an attorney on the matter. You are welcome to call for a free consultation on both the criminal matter and the issue with your son's friend's parents who threw the party.

You may very well have a an action against the parents, and even though the criminal offense is minor and his first he would be in a much better position with a lawyer in court. These areas of law are among specialties, however, we would need some more information before making a complete and proper determination. You are welcome to contact us for a free consultation.

I do lots of criminal defense work and represent people in civil suits. If you plan to sue the parents of the house where the party was held, you are going to have to show that your son suffered damages. You may have a claim if they were serving alcoholic beverages to underage individuals, including your son. You can call my office for a free consultation.

You may have a claim against the other family, but what are the damages? Your other issue of your son's defense, is a very real concern. I am a criminal defense attorney and I would be very happy to have a free phone consultation with you . I believe under the proper circumstances we can negotiate a plea bargain which will result in no criminal record for your son, but for that to happen , I need more information. Please call my office @ 7188340087.
