Would a DWI conviction in Maryland be recognized in New York?

any conviction in any other state would be recognized in all other stated. However, the DMV of Md has no authority on the DMV on NY so they can only suspend your driving privileges in the State of Md. NY may, however, pick up on the suspension and also suspend you on their own...
