annulment

where in buffalo could you look up annulment papers that happened in the 1940'sand are they on-line?

I doubt very much if they would be on line. you could check at Erie County Clerk's office - New York, and you can check there - it doesn't cost anything.

In the past, if we had to go back that far we would have to go into the basement of the Erie County Clerk's Office and search by had each of the books there. It helps if you know the names and the year. Annulment's at that time frame may have been sealed, and you would have to get a court order to do so.

I am two blocks from the courts and the clerk's office.

The records are filed in the Erie County, New York clerk's office.
