Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am divorced and have three (3) children with my ex-wife. She is the custodial parent and I pay her child support each week. We live in New York state. My question is: Am I obligated to pay the full amount of child support even if I share my childrens' time equally with my ex-wife or can I go back to court and ask for a reduced amount? I make $52,000 a year and she makes about $20,000 per year.

If your ex-wife is the custodial parent, then you must continue to pay child support. Based on the numbers you provided, you should be paying about $1252 per month.
