domestic partners

My partner and have been together 14

years -- we have a co op apartment. It

is in his name -- I pay all the

maintenance fees $1200.00 per month

for the past 14 years

we are separating am I entitled to any

rights to the co operative apartment?

You might be able to make a claim in equity, but don't expect the coop management to be cooperative.

In a recent case, one judge granted domestic partners the right of equitable distribution.

There may be other theories of recovery available to you.
