Legal Question in Family Law in New York

where to find note of issue, certificate of readiness, statement of proposed dep

I would like to know where would you have to go to find a copy of the note of issue, certificate of readiness, statement of proposed dispostion and a copy of a notice of entry of judgment. I went to the county clerks office and none of these items were there. The opposition stated that they had filed a notice of entry of judgement but the clerks office have no listing of it being filed.

These documents would have to have been served on your attorney. Suggest you ask your attorney if he has received them.

If you are pro se, you could also ask the plaintiff's attorney for a copy of the FILED stamped receipt, etc.

If you wish to discuss this with me privately, please call to schedule a conference.

I practice in NYC & Long Island.
