What legal options do I have to stop a family member from contacting me?

If the contact does constitute harassment, and this may be demonstrated through witnesses or other type of evidence (ex. phone records, etc.), you may file for an Order of Protection with the Family Court.

Furthermore, some types of harassment may be criminal. If that is the case, you may file a complaint with the local District Attorney's office.
