Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Leaving Home- My Property Rights

I will be moving out of my parents home( a home owned under my physically challenged twin brothers name)to start full time employment. I do not yet have a storage facility for my possesions and belongings nor, can I afford a storage facility yet, as I have not begun to receive salary to pay for such a storage facility. I begin work in one month. How long may I legaly keep these possesions in my room, the room I lived in for over 12 years in my parents house, before they are legally allowed to remove, dispose of or sell my property? Is the room in question still my room and if so for how long? Can my parents use the room at they're discretion before I have removed my property? Please answer any or all of the questions above, thank you.
