Legal Question in Family Law in New York

lying ex

My sisters ex claims he has no money for child support but he can repair his mothers home in Brooklyn as well as Greece. Per the divorce agreement, he wants to take our son to Greece however he does not have tickets and wants me to give him the childs passport. I must be made aware where my child is so I can speak to him daily. What shoud I do?

Re: lying ex

Your sister's ex wants to take your child to Greece, and wants you to give him the child's passport? And the Divorce agreement requires that he can do this? Either you misidentified the parties or you need a lawyer.

Assuming you misrepresented who you are, go to the court, explain the issue in a motion and ask that the court force him to take the steps necessary to secure the child's safety and availability.

Now as for child support, sounds like the guy is screwing the mother of the child. Go back to family court and prove he is putting money and time into his mom's house and is getting money from her or elsewhere to go to Greece and that the money would be better used to support your child.

Good luck.
