Legal Question in Family Law in New York

How do you protect yourself from blackmail/extortion when the woman is a well-established lawyer and has now told you about being a father almost 2 years after dating her? She has her legal and law enforcement friends helping to fabricate a story about me.

This is an unclear question.

How can you date a woman for two years and not know that you impregnated her?

In any case, if you are the father of the child, who I assume is very young, it would not be extortion if she seeks child support.

Extortion only applies to actions not explicitly permitted by law. Child support is a permissible action if you are the child's father.

I am not sure about the 'story' part of the question, but paternity can be established through a court-ordered paternity test.
