i have been served with a order to show cause what forms do i need to respond to this order i am the defendant

It is impossible to answer your question in this format. I would suggest that you retain an attorney. If you decide that you do not want an attorney, many courts have a pro se clerk that will help the public with forms. Or, you may contact the local bar association to see if you qualify for a free (pro bono) attorney.

You should file what is called an answer... And you must appear on the date stated on the forms you were served with.

I would however suggest speaking to an attorney as soon as possible as each civil case is different and requires attention specific advice.
