Legal Question in Family Law in New York

i am at the tailend of a divorce in ny. i have established another loving relationship and am moving on to enjoy whats left of my life. the divorce isnt final yet and my wife says that i am breaking the law by bringing them around my "paramour". weve done nothing innappropriate. ive consulted the childrens therapist(whom my wife chose) and he askd the kids if they like her and they said yes, and expressd enjoyment in her company, and her kids. am i breaking any laws? thank you

You are certainly not violating any law by having a relationship prior to the finalization of your divorce. Once the first papers are filed (the Summons with Notice or Summons and Complaint) your marital period is deemed over.
