Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am an unmarried father of a beautiful 9 month old baby girl. Her mother went to visit family down in Florida for a week, which I was ok with. During this week however, she told me she doesn't plan on coming back and she claims I cannot do anything about it. My daughter was born in and is a legal resident of NY. What can I do?
