how do i bring my boyfriend from D.R. to the us?

I have a boyfriend in dominican been dating him for a long time, i wanted to bring him to the u.s. to live with me so we could both work hard and build a future together, how do i do that?

If you are a US citizen, marry him and then apply for his green card.
