Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

Hi

My husband is working in New york with a 3 year TN work visa, I have a TD spouse Visa. I now have an offer of employment, my question is does me having a TD Visa

help or hinder approval of TN Status for me?

Also do I need to have G28 form/legal representation for the application?

thanks

Hi,

If you otherwise qualify for TN status (because you have a bachelor's degree in a specified field) and the employer is willing to sign a detailed employment offer letter, then you can be granted TN status: http://h1b1.com/lctnstatus.htm

Your current TD visa status is neither a hindrance nor a benefit. Legal representation is not mandatory.
