illegal alien marrying an out of work us citizen

good day!I have over stayed already here but i entered legally. i am soon getting married with an american citizen who is unemployed at the moment.will it be problem for him in sponsoring me?also, i am pregnant with his baby.hope you can answer my questions. thank you very much

So long as you have a US citizen or lawful permanent resident who is willing to execute the I-864 (affidavit of support) and act as a joint financial sponsor and be legally bound for 40 calendar quarters or until you naturalize, supplying 3 years of certified tax returns, & current job letter, you should be OK.
