Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

sponsers

me and my husband are using his mother in law as a sponser for filing my adjustment of status papers, since my husband's income is below the required income. My question is, does both my husband and his mom file separate I 864- Forms or just my mother in law, since she will be my sponser. And will she be the ''joint-Sponser'' as it is referred to on the forms?
