Legal Question in Insurance Law in New York
My father has auto insurance for himself only. I am a 21 year old full-time student who resides at home with my father. I am not listed on his policy in any way. Am I allowed to drive his car, and if so, if I were to get into an accident, would his insurance cover the damages?

If you are an excluded driver, then no, you're likely not covered. You should speak with your insurance agent and get this rectified immediately. You can get a non-owner policy, if that's what you need.
