Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

Want to Break Non Compete

I am a print broker expert. I have 20+ yrs in buying and reselling printing. I ended my employment with a company who in the last minute of hire asked me to sign do not compete form. I make a living with my manufacturers in the purchase and reselling of printed media. What do I need to do to get out of it. I do not have copy.

Re: Want to Break Non Compete

It's unfortunate that you signed such a document without taking the time to review it, photocopy it, or discuss it with an attorney. NCAs are generally enforceable if they are reasonable in geographical scope and length of time. If you would like to review the specifics of your agreement so I can provide you with an assessment of your options, please contact me via email.
