Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

I am a convicted felon and i have heard of a document that can seal your record if u pay for it.. or a program called FOIL??I am asking this because it seems that employers really discriminate.

If your record is not sealed immediately at the close of your court proceeding then is is cumbersome to later seal. In New York and in most states, sealing a record in a criminal case is more form over substance: its still a public record. There are other steps that you can take to secure full employment. Check with your local institutions that may assist formerly incarcerated persons.
