Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

What is it about?

How does labor and employment law differ? What are their goals? What are the problems in these arenas right now? Who do attorneys in these two fields represent? Any other basics about the field would be helpful.

Re: What is it about?

Generally speaking, and I'm not going to get into the sub-divisions, labor law is a subset of employment law. Labor law generally deals with laws regarding union practices and interactions with management and employment law deals with the state of the legal relationship between employers and employees in general. Theo bjectives are dependent upon who is being represented.

Should you like to discuss this or any other legal matter, you can call my office to schedule an appointment for a consultation or in the alternative, I can be reached for on-phone low-cost legal consultation at 1-800-275-5336 x0233699.
