Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York
I have an unwanted person living with me and my daughter, it's her boyfriend, he needed a place to stay for a couple of weeks until he found a job and a place to live. well it's been over 3 months. what can i do to have removed from my apartment? the police said since he's been there for 3 months or more, and my daughter is on the lease, if i throw him out, it's an illegal eviction. can you please give me some advice on how to have this vermin removed from my premises? thank you.

You need to file a petition in landlord tenant court to evict him. Hire a lawyer.
