Legal Question in Legal Ethics in New York

Photographers Rights

I have taken photographs of local area homes, digitally edited them and want to show and sell them. No identifying information (ie. names on mail boxes, etc) is showing on the photos. There are no people in the photos and all were taken from the side walk or road. All photo's show the properties in an attractive manner and were enhanced by the software with a watercolor effect. Do I need permission from the homeowners to sell prints of this 'digital artwork'?

Re: Photographers Rights

No. You were on public property taking a picture of a house that is "exposed" to the public.

Mike.
